Academic Departments

For younger boys, Roxbury Latin emphasizes basic skills in the major academic disciplines: the arts, English, history, classical and modern language, computer science, mathematics, and science. In the later years, after students have acquired the fundamental skills, our academic program becomes increasingly flexible. Boys may choose from a variety of electives, those subjects which interest them most. The school also offers significant opportunity for independent study both on- and off-campus.
